  • Principal and business owner, Karen Latham, has over 25 years’ experience working in small business office management, finance, payroll, bookkeeping and marketing assistant roles.
  • Karen graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in the late 1980s, then graduated from the Company Directors Institute Diploma course via the University of New England in the 1990s. Karen is a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and completed a Certificate IV in Finance (Bookkeeping) in order to become registered with the Tax Practitioners Board as a BAS agent. As such Karen is required to undertake continuing professional education in BAS, bookkeeping and ATO compliance related areas.

  • Associate, Alison Lancaster, has worked for Sorted Bookkeeping for more than five years and is a Certified Xero Advisor as well as having a wide range of MYOB software experience. Alison’s work history has ranged from Advertising, IT software development and training, data and statistics collection projects with the ABS and project management.  Alison approaches her work for all clients with a mature and methodical diligence.
  • Karen and Alison currently provide bookkeeping, payroll, administrative consulting and BAS support services to many small to medium sized businesses in Hobart and interstate.
  • Besides being proficient in the use of MYOB and Xero Accounting software, Karen and Alison work with a number of other cloud based, online and smartphone applications to ensure their clients in achieving efficiencies in data entry practices and financial analysis. Both are proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite of software applications.
